Position: Events Coordinator / Sales

Overview

We are a prestigious luxury hospitality and events company based in Miami, Florida, undergoing significant growth. With sales doubling over the past few years, we are seeking a full-time Events Sales and Coordinator to join our dynamic and collaborative organization. You'll have the opportunity to work alongside highly experienced team and utilize your creative and organizational skills. Please note that this is an in-person position and not a remote work position.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Selling events off-premises at designated locations and venues available in the South Florida area
  • Selling events at exclusive venues in Miami
  • Build and maintain long term client relationships
  • Manage event proposals, vendor contracts, and client contracts
  • Plan, produce and execute events
  • Maintain profit guidelines for your events
  • Communicate in a professional manner with other members of the Le Basque team to ensure your events and clients are well cared for
Qualifications
  • Extensive business experience selling and managing high-end corporate and social clients in the catering or event production field is required.
  • An open and challenging mentality to seek out new business and foster industry relationships.
  • Established local client and vendor network preferred
  • Knowledge or experience in food related businesses preferred or culinary knowledge in general.
  • Knowledge and experience of event planning and event management in all aspects and details is required
  • Knowledge of sales techniques and writing proposals to meet bid specifications is a benefit
  • Design and production skills a benefit
  • Highly developed communication skills and social perceptiveness is a must
  • Excellent written and verbal skills in English with language skills in Spanish a benefit
  • An innate desire to exceed guest expectations and an uncompromising approach to service
  • Ability to be highly detail oriented while maintaining an overview of the integrity of the event as a whole
  • Flexible schedule including weekends and late hours
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Minimum 3+ years in relevant event management role
Salary and Benefits

Annual Salary and Benefits: Annual Salary including projected commissions starting at $65,000 with experience and strong sales allowing you to earn up to $125,000 or more. Benefits include access to company healthcare program, flexible work schedule, paid holidays and paid time off.
