Position:
Beauty Sales Consultant in the CVS Beauty retail division. You will be the primary beauty advisor to customers, providing friendly, knowledgeable sales service and building personalized baskets based on customer needs and industry knowledge.
- Seek out customers to ensure a fantastic beauty advisor experience through personalized sales service, upselling, suggestive selling, and follow-up to build lasting relationships.
- Engage customers in the beauty zone, listen to needs, provide specialized sales advice, and be confident in using verbal skills to drive sales.
- Be the brand expert by answering questions with product knowledge to maximize the sales basket.
- Explain how products address customer needs, educate on usage and benefits, and leverage CVS Beauty Club programs and promotions to close sales.
- Create and maintain product displays, end caps, and beauty-specific promotional materials supporting key brands and corporate initiatives.
- Complete initial onboarding (30/60/90 days) with ongoing training to maintain sales, product knowledge, and selling skills.
- Execute the sales plan by meeting sales budgets and tracking progress.
- Participate in sales training meetings and promotions, brand launches, and customer care initiatives.
- Strive to beat prior sales goals and maximize the sales budget.
- Maintain a professional appearance according to company guidelines.
- Stay curious about the latest beauty trends and techniques and seek to expand product knowledge and client service skills.
- Exposure to the latest products through brand interaction and training.
- Free samples and access to new products for evaluation.
- Opportunities to learn from brand partners and colleagues on new initiatives.
- Impact on customers’ health and well-being through better experiences and products.
- Sales oriented with ability to use data and product knowledge to meet goals.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills; ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team; flexible retail schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and peak hours.
- Ability to perform listed tasks; willing to perform ear-piercing services (training/certification provided).
- In some stores, bilingual English/Spanish abilities may be required.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Prior beauty sales experience.
- Current knowledge of beauty products and brands; strong passion for beauty.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Full time - Pay Range: $16.00 - $26.00 per hour
