Position Overview
The Automotive Consignment Specialist is responsible for managing and converting inbound consignment and seller-related leads generated through the companyâs online platforms. This role focuses exclusively on working consignment opportunities with the goal of converting qualified inquiries into live vehicle listings on the companyâs auction platform. This is a lead-driven role ideal for a candidate who excels at follow-up, client education, and guiding customers through a structured consignment process.
Key Responsibilities- Actively manage and work all inbound consignment and seller-related leads assigned through the CRM
- Contact prospective consignors promptly via phone, email, and digital communication channels
- Qualify leads by gathering vehicle details, ownership status, and seller expectations
- Educate vehicle owners on the consignment process, auction timelines, and expectations
- Explain the benefits of listing vehicles on the companyâs live and online auction platforms
- Convert qualified consignment leads into active vehicle listings
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate vehicle information and documentation
- Maintain accurate lead notes and communication records in the CRM
- Meet or exceed lead response and conversion expectations
- Experience in automotive sales, customer service, inside sales, or lead management roles
- Strong phone presence and professional communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working within CRM systems and digital platforms
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams
