The RSR is responsible for growing existing business and developing new business with dealers and distributors in the assigned region to meet/exceed the business objectives of the Company.
Responsibilities- Other duties may be assigned including the following:
- Identify and develop strategic relationships with partners and potential customers
- Develop a pipeline of new customers through direct or indirect customer contact and prospecting
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding the products, conducting demonstrations, and explaining product benefits
- Provide customers with follow-up communication
- Analyze sales statistics and prepare reports
- Handle administrative duties such as filing expense accounts, scheduling appointments, and making travel plans
- Meet or exceed sales goals
- Develop credibility and build relationships with clients
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product features and benefits
- Guide customers through the sales process from application to activation
- Follows quality system procedures
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Good communication skills
- Goal‑oriented, persuasive, and able to work well both independently and as part of a team to implement business development initiatives.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Software
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Class C Driver’s License
- Must have a good driving record
- 2 to 3 years of outside sales experience
- AA or BA degree in Marketing or related field is preferred
- Ability to travel (up to 50%) in the territory
- Proven track record of sales success
