Oncology Sales Specialist (OSS)

Join Syneos Health in partnership with a leading oncology diagnostics company as an Oncology Sales Specialist. The OSS serves as the primary customer owner and contact for all assigned accounts within the territory and is responsible for calling on all stakeholders (ENTs, Radiation Oncologists, and care team members) to identify opportunities to expand share of care and acquire new customers in the HNSCC community.

Responsibilities
  • Achieve annual sales goals through efficient management and satisfaction of customer needs within the assigned territory.
  • Own the entire sales process for assigned accounts and provide routine service to key clients.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key decision makers in accounts.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop strategies for account growth.
  • Develop a territory coverage plan with sales management.
  • Properly sell and support utilization of key product as directed.
  • Communicate regularly with all members of the assigned territory team.
  • Perform product in‑service training to ensure customer satisfaction as needed.
  • Provide frequent market feedback on customer, product, competition, and market conditions to sales management.
  • Maintain accurate information on lost business and market developments.
  • Achieve goals for product sales; maintain consistent momentum in the sales cycle; overcome obstacles; and create new sales opportunities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree required (MBA preferred).
  • 5+ years of Life Science sales experience (Medical Device, Diagnostics, or Pharmaceutical).
  • 2+ years of recent experience selling to ENTs/Otolaryngologists or in oncology/diagnostics.
  • Strong track record of documented sales accomplishments.
  • Proficiency with MS Office programs.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to travel 50‑75% of the time; overnight travel may be required.
