As a Cosmetic Sales colleague, also known as a Beauty Advisor, your focus is to support the beauty needs of our customers to drive sales. You educate and inspire customers, building a client base and nurturing strong relationships to meet sales goals. You leverage new selling ideas, communicate virtually and by phone, and provide customer consultations including makeup application.

Full‑time colleagues are typically scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week.

• Product knowledge: Good understanding of beauty products and ability to give expert guidance.
• Communication: Comfortable communicating virtually, via phone, and in person.
• Sales: Build relationships, achieve sales goals, and participate in pre‑selling events.
• Technology: Utilize point of sale technology and applications to support sales.
• Continuous learning: Stay current with beauty product knowledge and trends through training.
• Makeup application: Show and teach product use through application.
• Subject Matter Expertise: Proficiency in vendor lines and beauty trends.
• Interpersonal skills: Excellent skills working with colleagues at all levels.
• Collaboration: Partner with the total Beauty team to drive sales.

• Possess a passion and business‑minded attitude for a performance‑based setting.
• Able to resolve customer problems constructively.
• Strong organizational skills; can manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Enthusiasm for the beauty industry and superior customer care skills.
• Flexible and uses sound judgment in ambiguous situations.
• Reliable attendance, punctuality, and flexible availability.
• At least 1 year of customer service or selling experience required.
• Previous cosmetic or fragrance sales experience is a plus.

• Prolonged periods of standing/walking around the store.
• Frequent use of computers and handheld devices.
• Reaching, crouching, kneeling, stooping, and color vision.
• Lifting and moving items weighing up to 25 lbs.
• Constant movement, standing, and repetitive reaching with arms and hands.
