Pro Shop Attendant

Pro Shop Associate – Grove Isle Tennis and Yacht Club

Grove Isle Tennis and Yacht Club features 8 Har-Tru courts, 1 padel court, and 1 pickleball court in a relaxed, high-quality playing environment. We’re seeking a part‑time Pro Shop Associate to assist with customer service, point‑of‑sale activity, court bookings, and daily shop operations. This role supports the club’s front‑of‑house experience as part of the Cliff Drysdale Tennis/Peter Burwash International team.

• Perform opening and closing procedures for the shop or store as determined by management.
• Responsible for accountability of POS transactions.
• Collect applicable fees from members/guests and outside patrons as they arrive.
• Make court, clinic, lesson and special event reservations, in person or by phone.
• Assist guests by selling merchandise and providing information in a professional manner.
• Assist with rotating stock and keep displays clean and orderly.
• Assist with general cleaning of the shop or store.
• Assist shop supervisor with creating appealing displays.
• Assist with monthly physical inventories.
• May work with coaches to facilitate orderly start and play times.
• Incorporate safe work practices in job performance.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Perform other duties as required/needed.

• High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Frequently stand, use hands, reach with hands and arms, talk or hear.
• Regularly walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crawl or crouch.
• Regularly lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

• Occasionally work in outdoor weather conditions. Noise level is moderate.

• None required.

• Ability to read and speak English may be required to communicate with customers or co‑workers.
• Active tennis player with knowledge of the game.
• Retail sales experience preferred.
• Computer proficiency including POS, Microsoft Office applications, social media, and tennis related programs such as  or Club Automation.
