Summary Hyatt Regency Miami is looking for a Restaurant Manager who are excited, qualified, hard-working, individuals with a passion for hospitality and a commitment to superior guest service. Experience with Micros is beneficial but not required. The Restaurant Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the dining area in a restaurant, overseeing the outlets staff, maintaining a high level of customer service, and ensuring an exceptional dining experience for all guests.

The role involves managing daily operations, coordinating with other departments, and implementing strategies to enhance the overall dining experience.

Responsibilities
  • Uphold company policies and procedures, including adhering to work schedules, dress code, and attendance guidelines.
  • Adheres to all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures
  • To ensure that all perishable items used behind the bar are labeled/dated and responsible for rotating and throwing away to maintain quality control
  • Portrays a positive friendly and professional attitude at all times, always smiles and greets guests warmly and genuinely
  • Provides prompt, professional, friendly, and personalized service to our guests
  • Provides help and support to all fellow colleagues
  • Attends and participates in any training sessions, department meetings
  • Provides professional and exceptional food and beverage service
  • Listens to guests and anticipates their needs
  • Proper serving of wine and alcohol (with awareness)
  • Properly executes closing procedures
  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and engaging with guests, ensuring their needs are met throughout their dining experience.
  • Resolve customer complaints or concerns promptly and in a professional manner.
  • Accurately review and process payroll
  • Recruit, train, and supervise Outlets team members.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff knowledge and service skills.
  • Schedule and assign duties to staff, ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to promote growth and development.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the Outlets, including Market, Riverwalk Cafe, Riverview Bar & Grill
  • Collaborate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and coordinated service delivery.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies, such as utensils, glassware, and linens, and coordinate restocking as needed.
  • Uphold high standards of food quality, presentation, and service consistency. Resolve guests’ issues with their orders.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food handling and sanitation procedures.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the Outlets to maintain cleanliness and organization.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Implement strategies to attract and retain customers, such as special promotions, events, or loyalty programs.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2-4 years or more of progressive Hotel F&B Management experience
  • Ability to speak a second Language fluently will be considered an asset (preferred but not required).
  • Micros and Evention knowledge is a plus
  • Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Suite applications
  • Refined verbal and written communication skills.
  • Physically agile, ability to stand or walk for long periods of time.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills; follow up and follow through.
  • Full flexibility, including the ability to work weekends and holidays and a varied schedule.
  • A true desire to understand and anticipate the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must possess the following strengths: high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, effective communicator, strong developer and trainer and effective in providing exceptional customer service.
