The Direct Patient Care Registered Nurse (DPC RN) is a licensed professional demonstrating proficiency in assessment, technical skills, communication, critical thinking, interpersonal skills, planning, intervention, evaluation, flexibility, organizational skills, professional accountability, leadership, and service. The DPC RN delivers patient-family centered care in a culturally competent manner, utilizing evidence-based practice standards to ensure quality, safety, and service.

• Active Florida RN license required
• Seven months of RN experience in stepdown, tele, or cardiac units
• Associate degree in Nursing;
  Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• RNs hired with an Associate degree will have 5 years from their hire date to complete the BSN degree
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Certification in area of practice preferred
