RN Day Surgery Seasonal

Overview

Shift: FT Seasonal 13 week contract starting in May - Days 5/8 hr. shifts per week M-F 7-3:30

Requirement: Min. of 2 yrs of RN experience. Prior Day Surgery/Pre-Op, PACU or Procedural experience required

Our Day Surgery unit is a fast-paced environment that includes high acuity patients. Our leadership team fosters an environment that supports learning, mentoring, and building every team member.

General Surgery, Orthopedics, Neuro, Gynecology, ENT, Oncology, Pain management, Interventional Radiology, and Gastroenterology patients. Pre Op and Phase II

Pre Op 1:1;
Phase II: ranges from 1:2 - 1:3-5; per ASPAN (American Society of Peri Anesthesia Nurses guidelines).

Team nursing approach to pre-operative patients, ability to cross train in PACU and GI lab, and collaborative team.
