DescriptionProvides supervision and leadership to patient care units.
Responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with and support managers with staff evaluations, patient flow, staff and family education.
- Serve as a patient/guest service ambassador and assist with problem‑solving on tour of duty.
- Coordinate staffing and nursing assignments for current and upcoming shifts.
- Participate in hourly rounding and ensure compliance.
- Ensure services align with Baptist Health’s philosophy, objectives, policies and procedures.
Estimated pay range: $46.02 ‑ $61.21 per hour, depending on experience.
Qualifications Degrees- Bachelors (Bachelor of Science in Nursing, BSN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- RNs hired prior to 2/2012 are not required to have a BSN to continue in a non‑leadership RN role.
- RNs hired after 2/2012 with an Associate’s Degree have 5 years to complete a BSN.
- BLS for healthcare providers and ACLS, PALS, or NRP required within 6 months of promotion or hire.
- Certification in a specialty area within 2 years of signing, promotion or hire.
Minimum required experience: 3 years.
