The Miami Market Director is a senior leader responsible for driving MDIA’s on-the-ground strategy in Miami-Dade County through high-trust relationship stewardship, partnership development, fundraising, people development, and program strategy. The ideal candidate balances being deeply strategic with being human-centered, aiming to serve people first. They can navigate complex systems with political savvy to drive program delivery while building long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with public sector leaders, philanthropic and corporate partners, anchor institutions, and ecosystem stakeholders.
At the same time, they translate relationships into outcomes and revenue to advance MDIA’s mission. Internally, the Director will be entrusted with ownership of program strategy and outcomes, while empowering and developing the members of the program team to handle the execution of the Public Innovation Challenge.
This role requires consistent presence in Miami to support real-time stakeholder engagement, follow-ups, and partnership momentum. An ideal candidate will have developed a network of trusted local partners within government, nonprofit, and startup ecosystems.
