Position Summary
As a media buyer, you will report to the Senior Director of Media and be responsible for all aspects of the media buying process such as negotiating of rates for media campaigns, research, and preparation of media plans across various categories and platforms, execution of media schedules, stewardship of media performance, analysis, and reporting. Bilingual (Spanish / English) proficiency preferred but not required.
Location:
Miami, New Jersey or Raleigh based is required.
The Responsibilities of the Media Buyer include:
- In depth knowledge and experience with programmatic platforms is required; linear TV media buying experience is a plus
- Demonstrated success managing lead gen campaigns and optimizing for efficient CPL and ROAS
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide thorough analysis of media performance and recommendations for marketing leadership and business teams
- Proficiency required in Microsoft Office applications, Google Analytics, DV360, and DSP platforms
- Solid negotiation skills with an ability to multi-task and solve problems in a fast-paced environment
- Must be detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Expertise with attribution models along with an understanding of the halo impact of marketing channels is desired
- CTV marketing experience in insurance, healthcare and financial services is preferred
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in CTV and digital media buying
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, media, communications or a related field is required
- Negotiate, buy, maintain, and monitor CTV media campaigns
- Research and identify ideal CTV media platforms and strategies based on target audience along with campaign objectives
- Preparation and presentation of media plans, quarterly reviews, and test proposals
- Collaborate on development of creative and overall strategy as it relates to other media channels
- Track and analyze campaign data such as views, click-through rates, engagement and conversion rates
- Media results reporting, including presentation to marketing and business vertical teams of analysis, findings, and recommendations to meet business goals and the ability to identify key areas of growth and scalability of campaigns
- Build and maintain relationships with CTV publishers and networks
- Monitor and stay up to date on industry trends, platforms and technologies in the CTV space
- Train other media team members on CTV
Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that base salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role and potential for revenue generation.
Note: The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is based on experience.
This role is also eligible to participate in the annual bonus program.
