Injection Molding Maintenance Technician

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Injection Molding Maintenance Technician to join our team at our facility in Opa Locka. As an Injection Molding Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and functionality of plastic injection molding machines and related equipment. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining maximum production efficiency and quality output. • Analyze problems in plastic injection molding machines (electronics, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, operational).
• Adjust machines for maximum production and quality.
• Troubleshoot and test equipment for operational checks.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on assigned equipment.
• Repair and diagnose problems using support equipment (overhead cranes, chillers, air compressors, etc.).
• Troubleshoot systems (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic) using schematics, drawings, testing equipment, and PLC control systems.
• Repair facility equipment, fixtures, conveyors, etc.
• Modify, lubricate, diagnose, and operate injection molding machines.
• Maintain industrial control systems.
• Use electrical test equipment (VOM, Motor Insulation tester, Oscilloscope).
• Work independently and with team members to complete repairs safely and promptly.
• Report repairs and complete required paperwork and documentation.
• Must have own tools.
• Manual lifting up to 40 lbs and capacity to work overtime as required.
