Overview
HEICO Component Repair Group, a global leader in the overhaul and repair of aircraft components, is looking for an Electromechanical Painter/Cleaner to support the preparation, cleaning, masking, and painting of electromechanical and aerospace components.
Responsibilities- Cleaning, degreasing and preparing electromechanical and aerospace components prior to painting or assembly, including masking, taping, sanding, and surface preparation in accordance with engineering drawings and work instructions.
- Applying primers, coatings, and finishes using approved spray equipment and methods, and inspecting parts for proper coverage, thickness, and defects such as runs, contamination, or surface imperfections.
- Maintain cleanliness of parts, tools, and work areas while properly handling, storing, and disposing of chemicals and solvents in compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Accurately document completed work and inspections, follow all required quality, safety, and aerospace standards.

RequirementsSkills and Education Experience
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2+ years of experience in industrial or aerospace painting and/or parts cleaning
- Experience working with aerospace coatings, primers, or chemical cleaning processes is a plus
- Knowledge of surface preparation techniques
- Familiarity with painting equipment and coating application methods
- Basic understanding of coating thickness requirements and inspection methods
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or nonconformances
- Ability to follow detailed procedures and maintain accurate documentation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
