Position Summary

Operation Team Clerk

This position provides administrative and clerical support for the Maintenance department including copying, performing simple calculations, and maintaining records and systems following standard operating procedures.

Shift Schedule

Part Time

Workdays:
Monday through Friday

Hours:

7:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Hourly Rate: $20.00/hr

Responsibilities

Driving Company Performance

  • Work with equipment manufacturers and maintenance staff on set up of preventive maintenance tasks and spare parts inventory for supported equipment.
  • Maintain an up-to-date library of machine manuals, prints and schematics.
  • Maintain computerized procurement and inventory records by data entry in MP2 by account, cost center and project.
  • Operate MP2 program and Crystal Reports: prints corrective work orders daily, preventive maintenance work orders weekly and parts automatic orders monthly.
  • Close corrective and preventive maintenance work orders upon completion including pertinent information for equipment files.
  • Support Parts and Inventory Team in parts sourcing efforts when additional help is needed.
  • Work closely with maintenance staff on continuously improving programs by editing tasks and frequencies when approved by Manager.
  • Generate back-order report, inventory and PM productivity reports for Management.
  • Support Plant Maintenance Manager on special projects as needed.
  • Generate monthly auto order requisitions and purchase orders.
  • Provide copies of daily shift summary reports to Manager and enter data into GAP spreadsheet daily.
  • Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Generate weekly and monthly reports for plant management related to maintenance performance.
  • Track maintenance monthly spending.
  • Train maintenance team on MP2 processes.
  • Complete all required paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe work area.
  • Follow all required work safe practices, including lockout-tagout requirements and wearing of all required PPE in designated areas, confined space safety, safe chemical handling, fall restraints, etc.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required
  • Work Experience:

    Minimum of 1-2 years related experience and/or training.
  • Education:

    High School diploma or Equivalent.
  • Technical Knowledge:
    Effective verbal and written communication skills; able to write legibly to complete paperwork;
    Basic Math skills;
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Powerpoint, Word);
    Follow and comply with all safety standards.
  • Additional Skills/Notes:
    Able to work in a fast-paced environment;
    Dependability;
    High degree of initiative;
    Adherence to safety requirements and wearing required PPE;
    Able to work in a team environment;
    Able to multi-task and be organized;
    Pass all pre-employment screens, including drug, background and criminal checks.
Preferred
  • Experience in food and beverage industry.
