The Operator is responsible for plant production operations, maintenance, and repair of all plant fixed equipment.

• Operate facility in a production mode, maintaining established efficiencies
• Examine and diagnose operational problems, and perform repairs according to accepted methods
• Conduct preventative maintenance practices
• Perform other related duties such as maintenance/repair and yard loading when needed
• Interpret and execute instructions given in both verbal and written form
• Schedule or call for repairs and parts
• Recognize potentially hazardous situations
• Adhere to all CEMEX, O.S.H.A., and M.S.H.A rules and regulations at all times
• Wear proper safety equipment while on plant grounds
• Meet or exceed company safety standards
• Perform other job responsibilities as assigned by management

• Minimum of 2 years experience operating and maintaining an aggregate facility
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Welding and cutting experience highly preferred
• Core understanding of conveyor belts, shaker screens, sand screws, and cyclone operations
• Ability to work scheduled shift hours and be flexible with scheduling, overtime and weekends

• Read, write, and speak English
• Continuous exposure to extreme heat, extreme cold, extreme noise, and working outdoors
• Handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Wear protective equipment while at the location

• Perform all job functions including walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, turning, climbing to a significant degree, and/or operating controls
• Exert up to 50 pounds of force frequently and 70 pounds occasionally, or negligible force frequently
• Required to talk and hear to communicate with employees/visitors and function safely around heavy rolling equipment
• Walking or standing for long periods of time
• Perform tasks involving walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree
