Locally owned company with over 100 years combined experience in the automotive reconditioning industry is expanding and is in need of a qualified and professional automotive paint technicians.
This range is provided by Music City Recon. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.
Base pay range: $800.00 - $1,500.00 per week.
Responsibilities- Travel to dealerships for on-site cosmetic repair.
- Inspect vehicles to be painted for repair.
- Prep and/or buff defects.
- Mix paint to specific color using standard formulas or color charts.
- Paint, sand, mask, blend and/or polish finish and retouch as needed.
- Experience required; at least two years of experience as an auto painter, prepping, and/or collision repair technician.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
- Ability to interact with co-workers and customers.
- Must be detail oriented, an active listener, and able to exercise sound judgment.
- Must be a good multi-tasker; ability to follow complex instructions is a plus.
- Should have ample knowledge of safety precautions.
- Must be able to work with strong detergents and chemicals.
- Time is spent working outside in both hot and cold weather conditions.
- Must be willing to wear gloves and eye and ear protection.
- 40-hour minimum work week, Monday through Friday. Paint leads earn up to 30% of gross bill out. Paint technicians work in teams of two and assist one another in completing jobs.
