Your Day to Day Life

We are looking for a Sensory Technician at 5707 Waterford District Dr, Miami, FL 33126 USA. Your mission will be to support the Operations Manager in managing the sensory kitchen and panel activities. You will assist in sensory panel setup, execution, data management, and documentation.

Responsibilities
  • Execute sensory panel studies under guidance of panel leaders/managers, following protocols for project scheduling, sample check‑in, rotation, preparation, cooking, and serving.
  • Collaborate with the Sensory team to design and implement all phases of sensory testing.
  • Operate sensory data acquisition software (SIMS): create, start, run and stop tests; maintain proficiency in SIMS.
  • Analyze sensory test data and provide insights.
  • Oversee internal sensory panel operations.
  • Document training to meet quality systems and seek clarification from supervisors as needed.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, coworkers, supervisors, managers, and external panelists.
  • Support corporate quality and continuous improvement processes (TQM).
  • Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications
  • Solid knowledge of sensory evaluation methods and testing procedures.
  • Ability to prepare samples accurately, following client specifications and safety guidelines.
  • Familiarity with laboratory safety procedures and policies.
  • Experience with data documentation and analysis using SOPs.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to provide technical assistance to staff.
  • Capacity to work independently while meeting supervisor‑set goals and targets.
