Role PurposeAs Chief of Staff, you will work closely with Kushki’s founders and leadership team to establish, strengthen, and optimize corporate governance, management, and decision-making processes that support the rapid expansion of payments across LATAM.
The Chief of Staff will play a key role in ensuring operations are efficient, scalable, and aligned with the organization’s strategic objectives, acting as a facilitator between executive teams and the different areas of the company.
Additionally, this role will be responsible for driving the execution of strategic initiatives, coordinating high-impact cross-functional projects, and ensuring that information flows clearly and timely—directly supporting the founders in prioritizing efforts and building an agile, strong organization prepared for sustained growth in the region.
The Chief of Staff will oversee internal communications, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment across the organization, and will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and facilitating quarterly management meetings to support effective leadership alignment and decision-making.
Key ResponsibilitiesProcess Analysis and Improvement
Analyze current operational processes, identify areas for improvement, and ensure the successful implementation of changes that optimize operational efficiency and agility.
KPI and Metrics Definition
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate team and process performance, implementing tools to track progress in real time.
Strategic Consulting for Department Leaders
Provide ongoing recommendations and advisory support to department leaders to improve cross-functional collaboration and ensure each team’s strategic planning aligns with overall company objectives.
OKR Management
Facilitate the definition and tracking of OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) across all areas, ensuring teams remain focused on the most relevant initiatives to achieve organizational goals.
Improve and ensure smooth communication among key departments by facilitating meetings and forums for conflict resolution, strategic alignment, and information sharing.
Project and Priority Management
Prioritize, categorize, and coordinate key activities and projects, managing workflows and ensuring critical tasks are delivered on time and with quality.
Goal Achievement Monitoring
Conduct periodic reviews of organizational goals and KPIs, ensuring teams remain focused on strategic objectives and adjusting direction when necessary.
New Initiative Implementation Facilitation
Lead the implementation of new processes, projects, or initiatives, managing resources and timelines to ensure successful execution.
Team Development and Training
Identify development and training needs across teams, supporting the creation of learning plans and ensuring employees are prepared to face new challenges and adapt to business needs.
Organizational Change Management
Oversee and lead change management efforts, helping teams adapt to new ways of working, technologies, and processes that support company expansion and continuous improvement.
Requirements- 10+ years of experience in strategic roles
- Experience working in multi-country companies and managing diverse teams
- Experience in fintech, payments companies, or similar industries (preferred)
- Advanced knowledge of KPI and OKR management and process analysis
- Experience in project management and operations optimization
- Strong ability to work with leaders across different areas and facilitate strategic decision-making
- High organizational skills and strong attention to detail
