Position: Creative Groups & Events (MICE) Manager

Your Mission:

We’re looking for a senior, highly hands‑on Creative Groups & Events (MICE) Manager to lead the design and delivery of unforgettable group travel and incentive programs. This role is for someone who loves developing creative concepts and rolling up their sleeves to bring them to life.

You will be leading a team of Coordinators and Assistants, owning key client and vendor relationships, and ensuring programs are not only flawlessly executed, but differentiated, sellable, and aligned with destination expertise and brand standards. You’ll collaborate closely with our Chairman, who continues to support the business through lead generation, and long-standing partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

Account Management

Serve as senior, hands‑on client lead for pitches, proposals, and ongoing client calls.

Develop creative program concepts and destination strategies aligned with client objectives and budgets.

Negotiate contracts, rates, and added value directly with hotels, venues, and key partners.

Build, manage, and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers while expanding the preferred partner network.

Leadership

Lead and mentor Groups & Events Coordinators and Assistants, setting clear priorities and execution standards.

Delegate effectively and rebalance workloads as program volume and complexity shift.

Step in alongside the team during high‑volume or high‑complexity programs to ensure execution quality.

Act as escalation point and decision‑maker during live programs, including on‑site leadership and troubleshooting.

Creative / Digital

Translate high‑level concepts into executable program frameworks, guest journeys, and experience flow.

Coordinate with creative and digital teams to ensure guest‑facing materials accurately reflect operational realities.

Conduct site inspections with a creative and experiential lens, identifying opportunities to elevate the program narrative.

Event Operations

Personally lead and/or support end‑to‑end logistics for complex programs, including hotels, transportation, venues, activities, and dining.

Anticipate operational risks and proactively resolve issues before they impact guest experience.

Oversee on‑site execution to ensure programs are delivered on time, on budget, and to service standards.

Administrative

Build, review, and approve operational timelines, run‑of‑show documents, budgets, rooming lists, manifests, and staffing plans.

Support proposal development with logistical input, feasibility checks, and preliminary budget estimates.

Create and maintain a vetted supplier list, ensuring service quality, reliability, safety standards, and alignment with brand and luxury expectations.

What we’re looking for

Proven experience in group travel, events, or incentive program logistics; MICE experience strongly preferred or branding studio creative experience.

Proven ability to lead both creative concept development and complex logistics execution.

Strong client‑facing presence with experience pitching, selling, and managing senior stakeholders.

Demonstrated leadership experience managing coordinators or project teams.

Commercially savvy with strong negotiation and budget ownership skills.

Confident decision‑maker who can push past “no” and find solutions.

Calm, decisive, and adaptable in high‑pressure, live environments.

Comfortable traveling for site visits, and on‑site program leadership.

Experience in luxury or high‑touch travel environments strongly preferred.

Hands‑on experience with registration and logistics tools of Cvent and

CLevel English and Tech Savvy

What We Offer:

Vacations: 15 business days, begins accruing on Day 1 of your hire date at 1.25 days per month.

Job type:
Full‑time, 100% In‑office

Schedule:

Monday to Friday; 8:30AM - 5:30PM EST

Discounted hotel rates for personal travel (after 90‑day probation period)

Access to the company’s health insurance marketplace, including dental and vision coverage, following the 90‑day probationary period Company subsidizes $150 + GAP /month.
