Construction Operations Manager (Ultra-Luxury Residential), Miami, FL ($100k-150k)

We are a premier luxury real estate development firm specializing in ultra-high-end custom estates in exclusive communities throughout South Florida. Our portfolio includes bespoke waterfront mansions, architecturally significant residences, and world-class luxury properties built to the highest standards of craftsmanship and design.

POSITION SUMMARY:

We have an immediate need for an experienced Construction Operations Manager to lead the execution of ultra-high-end custom estates on Fisher Island. This role oversees all field operations, ensures white-glove client service, and delivers architecturally significant residences to exacting luxury standards.

The Construction Operations Manager represents ownership across all active development projects and is responsible for overseeing construction progress, managing permitting and expediting efforts, and handling all construction-related administrative tasks. This role acts as the operational bridge between ownership, general contractors, consultants, expeditors, municipalities, and lenders, ensuring projects remain on schedule and aligned with ownership objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Executive Project Oversight
  • Oversee multiple luxury custom home projects from pre-construction through final delivery
  • Manage site logistics specific to Fisher Island (marine access, limited staging, security coordination)
  • Ensure seamless execution of highly customized architectural and structural elements
  • Maintain strict adherence to schedules and milestone commitments
Field & Trade Leadership
  • Supervise project managers, superintendents, and elite specialty trades
  • Coordinate high-end subcontractors (millwork, stone, smart home, glazing, yacht-grade finishes)
  • Maintain craftsmanship standards consistent with ultra-luxury expectations
  • Enforce discretion and professionalism across all job sites
Financial & Contract Management
  • Oversee project budgets of $3M+
  • Monitor labor, materials, and subcontractor costs
  • Lead value engineering without compromising luxury design intent
  • Manage change orders and complex owner-driven upgrades
Compliance & Risk Management
  • Ensure compliance with Miami-Dade building codes and Fisher Island regulations
  • Maintain OSHA safety standards and best-in-class job site organization
  • Anticipate and mitigate risk related to weather, marine transport, and material lead times
Client & Stakeholder Relations
  • Serve as senior operations liaison to architects, designers, owners’ reps, and private family offices
  • Lead executive-level project updates
  • Resolve sensitive issues with diplomacy and discretion
  • Deliver a concierge-level client experience
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 7+ years of experience in construction operations, owner’s representation, or development project management
  • BA/BS in Electrical Engineering, Construction, Architecture, or related field (preferred)
  • Background with high-end residential construction experience
  • Strong understanding of high-end finishes, imported materials, and long-lead procurement
  • Expertise in construction management software (Procore or similar)
  • Deep knowledge of South Florida permitting and inspection processes
  • Licensed Architect (a plus)
