Job Summary

The Manager, Network Development and Strategy oversees the daily execution of business development strategies, plans, and initiatives designed to drive growth, expand markets, and achieve financial and operational objectives. This role is responsible for identifying, developing, and maintaining strategic relationships with partners, providers, and other key stakeholders to strengthen the organization’s network and competitive positioning. The Manager applies deep industry knowledge to guide market expansion efforts, optimize network performance, and ensure alignment with corporate goals.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Lead the execution of network development and business growth strategies to expand market presence and drive revenue.
  • Provide mentorship, coaching, and development opportunities to team members, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence while ensuring goals are achieved within established budgets and timelines.
  • Oversee prospecting and outreach activities to identify new markets, partners, providers, and channels for network growth.
  • Establish and monitor metrics and KPIs to evaluate effectiveness and progress toward strategic objectives.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with industry stakeholders, partners, and customers to anticipate market trends, competitive actions, and emerging opportunities.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Finance, Operations, and Marketing teams to support new initiatives, pricing strategies, and product enhancements.
  • Provide input and recommendations for new service offerings, partnership models, and process improvements.
  • Oversee or participate in the preparation, negotiation, and administration of contracts and new business proposals.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards in all network development activities.
  • Stay informed of market dynamics and competitor activities to support data‑driven decision‑making and strategic planning.
Education & Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, network development, or strategic partnerships, including 1–3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Bachelor's Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven success in driving business growth and managing partner or provider networks.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives and achieve results in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
Required/Preferred

Bachelor’s degree

Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, or a related field required

Knowledge, Skills & Proficiencies
  • Strong understanding of business development principles, market analysis, and strategic planning.
  • In‑depth knowledge of contract management, partnership models, and negotiation practices.
  • Familiarity with competitive market dynamics, pricing strategies, and customer segmentation.
  • Strategic thinking and ability to translate business goals into actionable plans.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing market growth strategies.
  • Comfortable operating both strategically and tactically to achieve business outcomes.
Physical Requirements

This position works under usual office conditions. The associate is required to work at a personal computer as well as be on the phone for extended periods of time. Must be able to stand, sit, walk and occasionally climb. The incumbent must be able to work extended and flexible hours and weekends as needed. Physical demands include ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
