As a Workforce Planning Coordinator within Global Gaming HR Operations, you will play a key role in supporting the seamless alignment of talent and operational needs across our fleet and shoreside teams. This role thrives in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment and focuses on using data and systems to drive smart, people-centered decisions. You’ll collaborate with HR, Operations, Marketing and Scheduling to ensure workforce plans are accurate, timely, and aligned with delivering exceptional guest and employee experiences.

Essential Functions
  • Scheduling & Data Maintenance:
    Prepare and update crew schedules in alignment with operational needs and manning requirements; maintain accurate records in HR systems (e.g., CPS) and support data entry for workforce planning tools; monitor scheduling conflicts and escalate discrepancies to the supervisor; schedule casino crew, considering personal requests; schedule newly hired casino crew following guidance from talent acquisition; collaborate with Operations & Marketing on special projects/events/dry docks and ensure crew scheduling aligns with project requirements.
  • Workforce Planning Support:
    Assist with developing workforce planning aligned with long-term staffing objectives; support collection and consolidation of workforce data for reporting and analysis; coordinate with HR Services, Talent Acquisition, and Brand teams to ensure timely staffing actions; assist in tracking attrition, contract expirations, and onboarding timelines; provide strategic recommendations to leadership on staffing needs and crew movement; identify actions or recommendations related to staffing deviations based on observations (crew requests, schedule adjustments, skill changes).
  • Reporting & Documentation:
    Generate reports and summaries to support workforce planning decisions; maintain documentation of scheduling processes and standard operating procedures; support compliance by ensuring crew schedules align with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

    Collaboration:

    Respond to inquiries from internal stakeholders regarding scheduling and workforce data; participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement discussions; provide administrative support for workforce planning projects and initiatives; liaise with Shipboard Management, Port Agents, Manning Agents and internal partners to arrange embarkation/debarkation for crew; provide exemplary customer service while handling employee requests and questions; ensure timely distribution and reporting of crew assignments and relevant files to internal and external partners.
  • System & Tool Utilization:
    Apply workforce planning tools such as Tableau, CPS, and Excel to leverage data visualization for scheduling accuracy; assist in testing new system features and provide feedback to improve tool functionality; help maintain data integrity across platforms through regular audits and validations; ensure accurate system updates and prepare ad hoc reports as requested by Management.

  • Scope:
    The Coordinator - Workforce Planning reports to the Manager, Global Gaming HR Services, and is part of the Carnival Corporation Global Gaming HR department. This role involves collaboration with both Shoreside and Shipboard personnel and has global responsibilities across all brands.
