Senior Project Manager – Retail Construction

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to support our Retail Construction team. The ideal candidate has prior experience supporting large-scale construction projects.

• Manage stakeholders including architects, engineers and supply chain to deliver compliant projects.
• Analyze, track, and effectively manage critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slip.
• Verify effective project governance, processes and systems are utilized.
• Ensure application of best practice on all projects.
• Produce formal project status reports and other reports as required.
• Monitor progress of multiple construction projects simultaneously to ensure approved design standards are applied correctly.
• Manage the interface between all suppliers through monthly trackers and weekly reviews.
• Manage flow of project information between project team through regular meetings and written communications.
• Forecast and update key project milestones.
• Manage and monitor local design teams in accordance with commission criteria.
• Provide technical support to owners, architects, general contractors and regional stakeholders.
• Rapid response to RFIs from the field.
• Provide expertise for cost control, value engineering and constructability guidance where required.
• Independent review of status reports, drawing submittals, timelines and costs from architects, contractors and suppliers.
• Client management – assist in developing excellent working relationships with clients to maximize new opportunities.
• Strategic thinking – advise project teams on approaches that can successfully achieve both client and business objectives.
• Knowledge management – ensure key information and learnings are captured.
• Process improvement – identify ways to improve internal systems and processes.
• SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role where applicable.

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5‑7 years of relevant project management experience.
• Strong organizational and management skills – ability to work effectively and collaboratively with the broader team.
• Effective presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Procore and other construction project management tools.
• Excellent communication skills.

Salary range
: $130K–$165K per year (base salary only).
