Position

Summary

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Media Operations & Services, the Manager of Training Sites Media Operations will be a key member of the FIFA
26 Media Operations & Services team. The role works closely with Team Services, Access Management, Media Partnerships Services and other key individuals to ensure smooth operations at all FIFA World Cup training sites.

Responsibilities
  • Scope, plan and deliver all media-dedicated areas in all Team Base Camps and Venue Specific Training Sites.
  • Major responsibility for delivering services to accredited journalists, photographers and non-rights holders at the training sites.
  • Execute the training site–specific media operations plan: plan media areas, define media access, and handle logistics, equipment, infrastructure, overlay, signage and parking.
  • Prepare operational plans and information materials to assist FIFA Media Officers in managing MD‑1 official media activities at the training sites.
  • Work closely with the Team Services team to address media‑related challenges.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all media inquiries related to the training sites.
  • Collaborate closely with FIFA Media Officers to ensure smooth execution of official media activities on MD‑1.
  • Prepare detailed information materials on all training sites for accredited media representatives, including maps, to publish on the FIFA Media Hub.
  • Support the FIFA Media Hub team in updating the daily calendar of media activities during the tournament, ensuring all information related to training sites is up to date and accurate.

Education & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • Higher education qualification in media or sports event management
Experience
  • 3+ years’ experience in the sports industry, with an emphasis on media operations & services
  • 1–3 years’ experience in sports project management, preferably in football
Languages
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Spanish and/or French proficiency is a plus
Technical Skills
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & Project) and planning software and online collaboration tools
