Position: Limpieza y Mantenimiento General (Janitor)

Mantenimiento y limpieza:
La posicion requiere conocimineto de electricidad, plomeria, pintura y limpieza general de edificios o escuelas.

Se requiere permiso para trabajar en USA.

El horario es de Lunes a Jueves a viernes, horario alterno:

7:00am to 3:00pm
1:30pm a 10:30pm
10:00am a 7PM
1PM a 9:00pm

La función principal del Custodio Realizar tareas de limpieza/conserje de rutina. Mantener el edificio limpio, seguro, organizado y acogedor para nuestros estudiantes, personal y visit antes mediante esfuerzos de limpieza y organización de eventos. Garantizar la seguridad y protección de todas las instalaciones del edificio.

Se solicita persona para tarea de limpieza con experiencia.

Toda persona interesada debe pasar una investigación de antecedentes previa al empleo.

Calificaciones

Conocimiento de técnicas y equipos de limpieza comercial. Experiencia en manteniemiento basico
Manejar las demandas físicas del trabajo, incluyendo estar de pie y caminar durante la mayor parte del turno, agacharse y levantar al menos 50 libras.
Gran atención al detalle y capacidad para mantener los estándares de limpieza.
Buenas habilidades de gestión del tiempo para completar tareas de manera eficiente.
Capacidad para trabajar de forma independiente o como parte de un equipo.
Conocimientos básicos de mantenimiento de instalaciones.

Lunes a Viernes, Mañana y noche

Major Responsibilities

Perform janitorial/custodian duties and a variety of routine maintenance work. Ensure the safety and security of all building facilities. Follow all FNU Policies, Procedures, Rules and Regulation and the FNU Code of Ethics. As well as, Title IX, Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, as amended from time to time (“FERPA”), Florida Information Protection Act of 2014, as amended from time to time (“FIPA”), the EU General Data Protection Regulation as amended from time to time (GDPR) and all other applicable federal, state and local laws, rules, and regulations.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

Read, understand and comply with the University's mission, the catalog, the University's policies and procedures, the Staff Handbook and institutional effectiveness process.

Responds to communications (email/voicemail) on a daily basis.

Maintains the cleanliness and care of building facilities inside and out, including the parking and green areas.

Responsible for the neatness, cleanliness and orderliness of the school building facilities in general, and makes rounds to inspect walls, floors, elevators, stairs, classrooms, etc. on a continuous basis.

Ensures the proper functioning of bathrooms, lighting, air conditioning and elevators.

Maintains and repairs a variety of routine maintenance work in plumbing, electrical, mechanical or related work.

Sets up and takes down equipment such as tables, chairs, etc. needed for meetings, classrooms, conferences and events in general.

Use and maintain power equipment and hand tools such as vacuum, broom, mop, pressure cleaner, ladders, etc. for the cleaning and general maintenance of floors, walls, carpets, furniture, outside walkways and green areas.

Responsible for proper functioning of security alarms.

Maintains paint, fixtures and furniture throughout the building.

Oversees the competency of the company that cleans the school at night and makes observations and recommendations on their work when appropriate.

Provides maintenance to the Day Care facility.

Ensures the safety of the building especially in the evenings by monitoring students entering and/or leaving the university, making sure the classrooms are empty as well as the building.

Support and participate in University Commencement Ceremonies.

Participate in the self studies and committees conducted by the University.

Participate in the new students’ orientation.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Ensure they are in compliance with Title IX of Education Amendments Act of 1972.
