Position: Floor Tech Needed

AB Facility Services is looking for a Floorcare Technician for a Commercial Building located in Downtown Miami, FL.

Responsibilities

• Cleans building floors by sweeping, moping, carpet shampooing, scrubbing, stripping/waxing or vacuuming.
• Operate floor machinery such as tenants, kaivac, low and high-speed scrubbers.
• Prepares cleaning solutions to include mixing water and detergents in containers in a safe manner and in accordance with chemical specifications.
• Lifts and carries cleaning equipment, cleaning trays and cases of supplies to service the area.
• Loads supplies into vehicle and returns unused supplies to designated area.
• Checks inventory to ensure there is an adequate supply of items needed to clean area.
• Performs other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill and experience capabilities expected for this position.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work legally in the United States
• Experience:
  
  5 + years of relevant experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to pass background check. (No prior convictions no matter how long it has been)
• MUST HAVE FLOOR TECH EXPERIENCE

Physical Demands/Requirements

• Must be able to lift / carry / push / pull and move items of 70 pounds and/or more on a regular basis and repetitively lift weights of 40 to 50 pounds on raised surfaces.
• Must be able to walk, climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop on a frequent basis and for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications Education

• Experience:
  
  5 + years of relevant experience.
• High School diploma or GED.
• MUST HAVE FLOOR TECH EXPERIENCE
• MUST BE ABLE TO WORK LEGALLY
• Bilingual (English, Spanish) preferred

Pay & Schedule

* $15.00 per hour/ bi-weekly pay

• Monday - Friday, 6 pm to 10 pm
