We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Repair Vendor Executive to manage the day-to-day operational control of airframe component repairs. This role is central to ensuring repair orders are progressed efficiently, vendors perform to expectations, costs are controlled, and internal stakeholders receive accurate and timely updates.
What you’ll do:- Manage and prioritise repair orders to minimise delays and keep components moving.
- Maintain accurate system data including costs, status updates, quotes, and vendor notes.
- Proactively monitor vendor progress to identify and communicate risks early, including delays or cost impacts.
- Act as the main operational contact for assigned repair vendors.
- Ensure clear communication of workscope, requirements, and priorities.
- Track vendor performance against cost, quality, and TAT targets.
- Negotiate pricing, validate cost, and support warranty recovery.
- Provide internal teams (Sales, Programmes, Product Line) with reliable status updates and return forecasts.
- Support urgent repairs, including AOG cases and customer escalations.
- Support KPI performance across turnaround time, quote cycle time, cost variance, and warranty recovery.
- Contribute to operational improvements and efficiencies within the Repairs team.
- Experience in aerospace (MRO, airline, stockist, or workshop preferred).
- Understanding of component repair processes, MRO workflows and supply chain operations.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy workload.
- Confident communicator who can build strong vendor and internal relationships.
- Commercial awareness and experience with pricing discussions or negotiation.
- Comfortable using ERP/MRO systems (Quantum preferred) and MS Office.
- Technical knowledge of airframe components.
