Barry’s is the Best Workout in the World

About the role
We are seeking a proactive and solution-oriented Procurement Operations Specialist to support Barry’s Procurement function. This role partners closely with the VP of Procurement and cross-functional teams to support equipment and supply management, vendor and logistics coordination, and reporting. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates effectively with diverse stakeholders, and approaches challenges with urgency and a positive, solution-driven mindset.
What you'll do
Equipment Procurement- Manage equipment quotations, purchase orders, and vendor follow-ups through final delivery
- Support landed cost calculations, pricing reviews, and recurring procurement reporting
- Maintain accurate records and procurement systems to ensure data integrity
- Support project management for New Studio Openings, ensuring timelines, milestones, and deliverables are met
- Coordinate international shipments with vendors and freight forwarders
- Track and manage domestic and international freight, including exception handling and issue resolution
- Partner with internal teams to ensure timely receipt and distribution of equipment and supplies
- Serve as a primary point of contact for vendors, freight forwarders, warehouse partners, and internal stakeholders
- Support cross-functional initiatives requiring coordination, follow-through, and problem-solving
- Proactively communicate updates, risks, and resolutions to relevant partners
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, logistics, operations, or a related field preferred
- Strong communication skills across vendors, partners, and internal teams
- Positive, solution-driven mindset with a strong sense of urgency
- Advanced Excel skills required (pivot tables, macros);
Python for simple automations preferred - Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
