Legal Billing Associate

Overview

Our client, Legal Firm - located iin Coconut Grove. This role is supporting the owner of the firm; along with the whole legal team preparing, editing and finalizing client invoices in compliance with client fee agreements, guidelines and firm policies. This is an on-site opportunity. Management extends sincere appreciation with their continued support of the employees.

• Electronic Billing (E-Billing) - submit, monitor and resolve rejections for invoices through legal e-billing platforms
• Time/Expense Management - track and input billable hours and expenses from legal staff, ensuring accuracy in hourly rates
• Client Relations - review aging reorts to identify overdue payments and follow up on collections
• Record Maintenance - maintain organized billing records for audits and financial reporting.
• Heavy Document Review of all and of unpaid fees to follow up with litigation process

• Previous eperience in law firm billing or legal accounting is strngly preferred
• Technical Proficiency - Proficiency with legal billing software
• Strong Attention to Detail
• Excellent, Strong Communication skills both written and verbal
• Education - prefer Bachelor's Degree
• Paralegal work experience is a huge plus
