Job Summary
The firm is seeking an experienced Liability Defense Attorney to join its Miami-based practice. This role focuses on the defense of liability claims from pre-suit analysis through active litigation. The ideal candidate is a confident advocate with strong judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage complex matters efficiently. This position is well suited for an attorney who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys taking ownership of cases, and values working within a supportive, team-oriented practice.

• Defend liability claims at all stages, including pre-suit evaluation and litigation
• Manage premises liability and negligence matters
• Draft pleadings, motions, and written discovery
• Conduct and defend depositions of parties and witnesses
• Attend mediations, hearings, and other court proceedings
• Analyze case strategy, exposure, and resolution options
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams
• Maintain accurate billing and comply with reporting guidelines

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
• Licensed and in good standing with the Florida Bar
• Minimum of five years of experience defending premises liability or similar negligence claims
• Strong legal writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities
• Ability to manage multiple matters and respond to urgent issues
• Collaborative, detail-oriented, and client-focused approach

• Competitive salary range of 140,000 to 180,000 depending on experience
