Real Estate Associate (Entry–Junior Level)

Direct Counsel is representing an Am Law 100 firm seeking an Entry to Junior Level Associate to join its Real Estate Practice Group in Miami. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent law school graduate or an attorney with 0–3 years of experience to develop a career in commercial real estate transactions while working with accomplished partners and senior attorneys at a nationally recognized firm.

The successful candidate will gain hands‑on experience and mentorship across a range of real estate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, development, and leasing for both local and national clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support all aspects of complex real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and leasing.
  • Conduct due diligence and assist with drafting, reviewing, and negotiating transaction documents.
  • Participate in closings and coordinate with clients, lenders, and third parties.
  • Work directly with senior partners, including the Miami Office Co‑Chair of Real Estate, gaining insight into the business and relationship‑building aspects of a successful real estate practice.
  • Receive structured mentorship and professional development opportunities while assuming substantive transactional responsibilities early in your career.
Qualifications
  • 0–3 years of experience in real estate or transactional law; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong academic credentials and exceptional writing, research, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational abilities, with a proactive and detail‑oriented approach.
  • A high level of energy, enthusiasm, and commitment to learning and professional growth.
  • Must be admitted to the Florida Bar or eligible for admission.
