Hamilton Miller & Birthisel LLP, a premier Florida insurance defense trial law firm, seeks experienced paralegals to join our statewide litigation defense practice in the area of Personal Injury Defense.

• Locate and contact factual witnesses.
• Draft witness and exhibit lists.
• Organize and maintain accurate case documentation.
• Identify and coordinate with experts; assist in preparing hearing and trial notebooks; provide trial support.
• Conduct initial case investigations, gather facts, draft pleadings, and prepare discovery documents (interrogatories, requests for production).

• 3-5 years of paralegal experience working in a law firm or similar legal environment preferred.
• Experience working in the area of Personal Injury Defense.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, able to multitask, and a strong team player.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
• Familiarity with state and federal court rules.
• Ability to follow client billing guidelines and manage billing entries.
