Our client is seeking a dedicated Immigration Attorney to join their legal team, with a focus on removal defense, including appeals, briefs, and motions to reopen. This role is ideal for an attorney with strong legal writing skills and a passion for advocating for clients in complex immigration matters. This is an in-person position and may require occasional travel for hearings or interviews.
Key Responsibilities- Represent clients in immigration court and before government agencies
- Draft and file legal briefs, motions, appeals, and motions to reopen
- Conduct legal research and develop case strategies
- Communicate with clients, courts, and government agencies
- Manage multiple immigration cases and deadlines
- Juris Doctor (JD) and active bar license in any U.S. state
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
- Experience in immigration or removal defense preferred, not required
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively
