Real Estate Development Attorney (In-House Legal Counsel)

OverviewWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project or Real Estate Development Attorney to join an in-house legal team of a fast-growing global infrastructure company. This is a unique opportunity for a mid-level legal professional to play a critical role in high-impact transactions involving project development, construction, real estate, and project finance. The role offers flexible work options including on-site in Miami, fully remote, or a hybrid arrangement, making it ideal for candidates across the U.S. with a passion for infrastructure development and legal excellence.
Responsibilities- Provide legal support for complex corporate transactions related to project development, real estate, construction, and infrastructure.
- Draft, review, and negotiate key commercial agreements including development contracts, financing documents, construction agreements, and joint venture arrangements.
- Advise internal teams on legal strategy, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance across various stages of project life cycles.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders such as development, finance, engineering, and operations.
- Support deal structuring and execution, including due diligence, closings, and post-closing matters.
- Stay informed of relevant legal developments and regulatory trends affecting infrastructure and construction sectors.
- Manage and coordinate with external counsel as needed.
- Minimum of 4 years of legal experience in project development, finance, construction, and/or infrastructure transactions.
- Prior in-house counsel experience preferred.
- Excellent academic credentials from a recognized and accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in any U.S. state.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of professional integrity, sound legal judgment, and outstanding references.
