Business
Shield is expanding its trade compliance function to support rapid growth in electronics wholesale and export payments across the U.S. and Latin America.
We’re looking for a Trade Compliance Officer who understands the real mechanics of electronics trade — how goods move, how documentation is structured, where fraud and misrepresentation happen, and how payment flows intersect with cross-border trade risk.
This is not a generic compliance role
. We want someone who can distinguish between legitimate electronics exporters and high-risk, misdeclared, or illicit trade activity
, and who understands how trade documentation, counter parties, and payment behavior connect.
Company Descriptions
Shield is a payment processor headquartered in Miami, Florida
, enabling electronics export businesses to accept digital payments (
USDT, USDC, USD
) from international buyers.
We process $50M+ in monthly volume for large electronics distributors across the U.S. and Latin America and have raised $7M in venture capital from leading fintech and crypto investors.
Because electronics trade is capital-intensive, documentation-heavy, and frequently abused
, trade compliance is a core operational function at Shield — not a policy layer or afterthought.
