Marketing Data & Analytics Lead (BI + Data Engineering)

Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly technical and business-driven Marketing Data & Analytics Lead to own the full marketing data stack, from ingestion and transformation to performance analysis and executive reporting.
This role combines data engineering, BI development, and marketing performance analytics
. You will design scalable data pipelines, build reliable attribution and ROI models, and deliver actionable insights that directly influence marketing investment and growth strategy.
This is a hands‑on role requiring both engineering depth and business acumen.
Key Responsibilities- Design, build, and maintain marketing data pipelines (CRM, paid media platforms, product analytics, finance systems, etc.)
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance across marketing metrics
- Partner with Engineering/Data teams to optimize warehouse architecture (Snowflake, Big Query, Redshift, etc.)
- Implement automated reporting and KPI monitoring systems
- Build robust CAC, LTV, payback, and contribution margin models
- Develop multi‑touch attribution and channel performance frameworks
- Identify trends, anomalies, and optimization opportunities
- Support forecasting and scenario modeling for quarterly planning
- Standardize KPI definitions across Marketing and Finance
- Deliver executive‑ready performance reports and board materials
- Enable self‑serve analytics for the broader marketing team
- Act as the primary data partner to Marketing leadership
- Advise on budget allocation and channel mix optimization
- Translate complex analyses into clear, actionable recommendations
- Support go‑to‑market and growth strategy with data‑backed insights
- 6–10+ years in Marketing Analytics, Data Engineering, or Business Intelligence
- Advanced SQL skills (comfortable building complex queries and models)
- Experience building ETL pipelines and working with data warehouses
- Experience with DBT, Airflow, or similar workflow orchestration tools
- Deep understanding of marketing metrics (CAC, LTV, ROAS, funnel conversion, retention)
- Experience working cross‑functionally with Marketing, Finance, and Product
- Strong data modeling and forecasting skills
