We are looking for a Senior Vice President of Information Technology to join the team!
General Responsibilities Strategic business alignment- Define and communicate a clear IT vision that directly supports corporate strategy and growth
- Prioritize and fund technology investments based on ROI, risk, and strategic impact
- Partner with business leaders to co‑own revenue, margin, customer experience, and efficiency outcomes
- Lead digital transformation roadmaps (cloud, data, automation, AI) that modernize core platforms and create new capabilities
- Build an innovation pipeline: pilots, proofs of concept, and scaled initiatives that differentiate the company
- Monitor emerging technologies and competitors, translating trends into pragmatic, value‑focused use cases
- Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of critical systems using robust SRE/Dev Ops practices
- Set and track KPIs/OKRs for uptime, incidents, change success, and time‑to‑market for new features
- Optimize IT cost structure (run vs. change), improving unit costs while increasing service quality
- Own the enterprise technology risk posture: security, privacy, resilience, and regulatory compliance
- Implement a strong cybersecurity program (governance, controls, monitoring, incident response, training)
- Establish business continuity and disaster recovery capabilities aligned with risk appetite and regulatory needs
- Develop a cohesive data strategy: architecture, governance, quality, and access across the organization
- Enable/Source self‑service analytics and AI that empower functions (finance, operations, marketing, HR) with insights
- Drive responsible AI practices, including ethics, transparency, and risk management
- Attract, develop, and retain top technical and leadership talent, with clear career paths and succession plans
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning across IT and the business
- Evolve the operating model (agile, product‑centric, platform teams) to improve speed and responsiveness
- Build trusted relationships with the CEO, C‑suite, board, and key external partners
- Translate complex technical topics into clear business language, especially around risk and investment
- Represent the technology function externally with vendors, regulators, partners, and sometimes customers
- Establish IT governance for demand management, prioritization, architecture, and standards.
- Use dashboards and regular reviews to track outcomes, not just activities, and adjust course quickly
- Promote ethical technology use, sustainability in IT (energy, hardware lifecycle), and social responsibility
- Proven track record of developing a technology vision aligned with the business, managing and leading a large IT Department, with a role inclusive of external customer facing responsibilities
