Overview

Our client, a leading organization in the technology and telecommunications sector, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Support Engineer - Miami, FL to join their dynamic team. As a Field Support Engineer
, you will be an essential part of the Technical Support Department, supporting various teams to ensure seamless operation and maintenance of hardware and software systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Provide onsite support for all in-scope software, including vendor and in-house applications, ensuring timely resolution of service requests.
  • Install, move, add, and change hardware and software components (IMACs) at designated locations, ensuring connectivity and operational readiness.
  • Perform hardware maintenance, including installation, replacement, testing, and diagnostics of workstations, peripherals, and other equipment.
  • Manage hardware inventory, coordinate repairs with third-party vendors, and ensure proper documentation within the Asset Management system.
  • Support security setup, network connectivity, and administrative procedures related to hardware and software deployments.
What’s Needed?
  • Proficiency in computer sciences, particularly in telecommunications, networking, security, messaging, operating systems, databases, and identity & access management.
  • Experience providing onsite support for hardware and software, including IMAC activities and hardware repairs.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to perform diagnostics and repairs efficiently.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage inventory and documentation accurately.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
