THE ROLE

Here at Survitec, we are currently recruiting for an Infrastructure Support Engineer to join our team based in Miramar, Florida.

Survitec Group Houston is seeking a detail‑oriented candidate with strong communication skills. Our Information Technology team is responsible for defining, providing, maintaining, optimizing, and expanding the business solutions that support global operations, communications, data collection and management, decision‑making, and customer relationship management. The department also ensures the protection of our business, customer, and personal data.

We are restructuring our IT Service Management team across the globe and are recruiting for an experienced Infrastructure Support Engineer to support our global infrastructure. Aligned to group technology and reporting to the Head of End user Services, you will be a key member of a team responsible for supporting regional infrastructure and stakeholders, whilst having input to our IT roadmap.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM

THE ROLE

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support the Survitec global infrastructure – acting as a technical escalation point and collaboration source to our partners and vendors.
  • Play a key role and provide support to ongoing major programs including Network and Cloud migrations.
  • Provide incident response coverage, collaborating with global teams to investigate, contain, and resolve IT and security incidents.
  • Ensure that all systems are performing at optimal levels, liaising with external service providers where necessary.
  • Monitoring and maintenance of the security, integrity and performance of core systems and backup services.
  • Compliance reporting and remediation.
  • Work collaboratively with the Architecture & Security teams offering input on solution designs where appropriate.
  • Assist with planning and delivery of infrastructure improvements as part of a team.
  • Working closely with our vendors and outsourcing partners to provide input and continuously improve service.
SKILLS
  • Strong background in cloud computing and Azure technologies including Azure IaaS, SaaS & PaaS.
  • Strong working knowledge across the MS Stack including the Windows OS Family, Active Directory (hybrid), Exchange, Office, defender, scripting and endpoint management (Intune & SCCM).
  • Experience designing and implementing scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure environments.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, and system issues.
  • Assisting with IT projects, such as system upgrades, migrations, backups.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • ITIL certification or experience.
DESIRABLE
  • Understanding in key infrastructure processes including capacity management, patch management, change management and performance reporting.
  • Network management including LAN & WAN technologies.
  • Outsourced supplier management.
  • Experience of Service Management tools eg Service

    NOW, SysAID etc.
  • Manufacturing industry experience desirable.
  • Experience in supporting or implementing IT Security standards such as ISO
