Solutions Consultant (Pre Sales) - Copperleaf - US Based
Join IFS as a Solutions Consultant to serve as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales cycle for the IFS Copperleaf decision analytics platform. You will collaborate with sales teams, prospects and existing clients across the Americas, demonstrating positive outcomes and positioning IFS as the partner of choice for adoption and enablement in key industry verticals.
Our customers are mid‑to‑large asset intensive enterprises in Energy & Utilities, Water, Manufacturing, Rail & Transportation, and more. Developing industry knowledge and becoming a trusted advisor will be essential.
Core Responsibilities- Deliver impactful product demos and executive briefings (virtual and on‑site)
- Design enterprise‑level technology solutions
- Provide technical leadership in the sales process
- Engage with the industry at external events
- Product Sales and Demonstrations
- Developing and delivering engaging product presentations and tailored software demonstrations
- Managing and customizing demo environments, scripts, and technical assets
- Collaborating with Account Executives to define sales strategies and close deals
- Building strong relationships with prospect stakeholders and partners
- Representing IFS Copperleaf at trade shows and industry events
- Solutioning
- Designing enterprise architecture solutions for prospective clients and visualizing IFS Copperleaf fit within their organization
- Influencing product evolution through client insights and market trends
- Technical Expertise
- Responding to RFXs, scoping projects, and supporting proposal development
- Configuring software for custom demonstrations
- Contributing to internal team development and process improvement initiatives
- Background in presales consulting, with 1 to 2 years+ experience with software presales/delivery, or equivalent experience
- Interpersonal skills: creativity and curiosity with the ability to effectively communicate and influence solution direction to both technical and non‑technical audiences at all organizational levels
- Natural presenter – engaging and dynamic
- Demonstrated problem‑solving and creative skills, exercising sound judgment on the fly and navigating from problem to solution dynamically
- Resilient, proactive, and inquisitive by nature
- Craves personal improvement, and does not shy away from asking questions, sharing opinions, and receiving feedback
- Strong team spirit, viewing ultimate success as that of the group rather than the individual
- Experience leveraging AI is preferred
- Salary Range: $100,000 to $160,000 USD annually + commission
