Role Summary

The Enterprise Architect (EA) is responsible for designing, governing, and evolving the organization’s enterprise-wide architecture to ensure alignment between business strategy and technology execution. This role provides strategic direction across applications, data, infrastructure, and integration platforms while enabling scalability, security, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategy & Architecture
  • Define and maintain the enterprise architecture vision, principles, standards, and roadmaps
  • Translate business strategy into target-state architectures and multi-year transformation plans
  • Ensure alignment between business capabilities, processes, and technology platforms
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption aligned with business value
  • Governance & Standards
  • Establish and enforce architecture governance, design standards, and best practices
  • Review and approve solution architectures for major initiatives and programs
  • Ensure architectural compliance with security, privacy, regulatory, and resiliency requirements
  • Manage technical debt and guide modernization efforts
  • Partner with business leaders, product owners, and IT leadership to shape technology strategy
  • Guide and mentor solution, application, and domain architects
  • Facilitate architecture reviews, design workshops, and decision forums
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on technology investments
  • Execution & Enablement
  • Support major programs and projects by providing architectural guidance and risk mitigation
  • Define integration, data, and platform strategies across the enterprise
  • Enable cloud, digital, and data transformation initiatives
  • Drive reuse, interoperability, and simplification across systems
  • Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in technology, including architecture and large-scale enterprise systems
  • Proven experience designing enterprise architectures across applications, data, and infrastructure
  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms, integration patterns, APIs, and data architecture
  • Experience with technologies commonly used at NCLH
  • Certifications such as AWS/Azure/GCP Architect, or similar
  • Adobe AEM, CJA, and AEP
  • SFDC Data Cloud and Sales Cloud
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in travel industry with understanding of major reservation/distribution platforms (GDS).
  • Experience in regulated or complex, multi-brand enterprises
  • Background in digital transformation, modernization, or cloud migration programs
  • Strategic thinking and systems-level problem solving
  • Strong communication and stakeholder influence skills
  • Ability to balance long-term architecture vision with short-term delivery needs
  • Business acumen and financial awareness
  • Leadership without direct authority
