Job Summary:

We are in search of a skilled Business Intelligence Data Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and managing data solutions using a variety of technologies. This position requires a deep understanding of data architecture principles, proficiency in BI technologies, and the ability to align data strategies with business objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategic data architecture plans.

Design and construct large and complex data sets from diverse sources, considering strategic data usage and design interactions.

Implement AI and ML algorithms to support data analysis initiatives.

Develop and maintain Business Intelligence (BI) interfaces, including query tools, data visualization, interactive dashboards, ad hoc reporting, and data modeling tools.

Collaborate with business teams to understand requirements and develop BI solutions.

Translate business needs into technical specifications.

Design, build, and deploy BI solutions such as BI dashboards.

Maintain and support data analytics platforms.

Create tools for data storage, such as OLAP cubes.

Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting.

Evaluate and enhance existing BI systems.

Collaborate with teams to integrate systems.

Develop and execute database queries and analyses.

Create visualizations and reports for projects.

Develop and update technical documentation and data dictionaries.

Develop and maintain ETL processes.

Proactively identify opportunities to improve existing data architecture.

Qualifications:

5+ years of commercial experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field;
Master’s degree is a plus.
Proven experience as a BI Developer or Data Architect.
In-depth understanding of database management systems, OLAP, and ETL frameworks.
Familiarity with cloud platforms and big data tools.
Experience in Wellness, Fitness, Cruise, Travel, or Hospitality industries preferred.
Experience working with global teams.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Knowledge and

Skills:

Proficiency in SQL queries, SSRS, and SSIS.
Experience with data modeling techniques and BI technologies (e.g., Power BI, Oracle BI).
Knowledge of Qlik Technologies products is a plus.
Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Microsoft Azure) and AI/ML technologies.
Experience with Python is a plus.
Commercial thinking with a pragmatic approach.
Analytical mindset with problem-solving aptitude.
