Systems Engineer, Systems Administrator
Requirements
Must have:- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience/training
- CCNA or CCNP Certification preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in network, system, or software architecture, design, implementation, support, and evaluation of network tools and services
- Extensive experience with Citrix load balancers, Cisco routers, and switches configuration
- Highly proficient with TCP/IP, MBGP/BGP, OSPF, and VXLAN communication protocols
- Advanced knowledge of IT Networking best practices
- Expertise in advanced networking concepts including WiFi, LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, and VOIP
- Experience managing core network infrastructure, such as SD-WAN and Edge Firewall
- Proficient in managing hybrid cloud environments
- Experience with on-prem VOIP phone systems, IP faxing, and cloud conferencing solutions
- In-depth knowledge of Cisco IOS/SANoS/NXOS
- Proven track record in managing projects from research through to implementation
- Significant experience with programming and scripting languages
- Oversee the design, installation, and maintenance of network systems to ensure maximum availability
- Evaluate, recommend, specify, and implement technology solutions while leading project deployment teams
- Conduct statistical analysis for effective capacity planning
- Provide technical support and lead teams in troubleshooting network issues
- Offer network support for users across various operating systems
- Supervise teams in the installation and configuration of computer network equipment
- Ensure connectivity of all computer workstations on the network
- Develop and enforce policies regarding the use of network resources
- Manage and implement disaster recovery and backup processes
- Assess and recommend security enhancements and system upgrades
- Monitor network performance to ensure it operates at optimal levels
- Manage the creation and maintenance of network users and permissions
- Test product releases to limit user impact and verify compatibility
- Create technical support documentation for systems and applications
