The role involves assisting staff with IT technical issues, responding to support tickets, remote and on‑site client interaction, installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and documentation.
Responsibilities- Act as the initial point of contact for all computer and system-related concerns from customers.
- Install and configure computer systems and applications, deploying system images.
- Evaluate and prioritize support cases.
- Ensure timely resolution of reported issues.
- Communicate and solve customers' problems via phone, email, remote connection, and face‑to‑face.
- Consult and provide solutions for customer problems.
- Track and manage work record.
- Document requests for service and resolution steps.
- Assist management in creating training materials for computer troubleshooting and usage.
- Organize documentation for warranties and instructional guides for hardware.
- Build and maintain relationships with vendors.
- Maintain high organization and time‑management skills with attention to detail.
- Occasional night and weekend work; travel 5‑10% may be required.
- 2+ years of experience as a Technical Support Engineer or similar role.
- BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Familiarity with MS Active Directory, Exchange, VPN, VOIP/SIP, Remote Desktop and Office 365.
- Experience with Windows, Mac OS and networking.
- Ability to work effectively in geographically diverse teams.
- Procurement, inventory and asset management experience a plus.
- Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, able to multitask and prioritize under high pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in written and spoken English;
Spanish speaking a plus.
- Able to work on an on‑site position.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical, logical thinking, and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent time management and proven ability to meet deadlines.
