In this field‑based role the MSL will serve as a medical and scientific expert, engaging Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) across the region to advance scientific exchange, shape clinical understanding, and elevate patient care.

What You’ll Do

• Build and expand strategic, compliant scientific relationships with optometrists, ophthalmologists, and other KOLs across the region.

• Serve as a field‑based expert, delivering relevant medical and scientific insights to both internal and external stakeholders.

• Respond to medical inquiries with clear, evidence‑based information supporting the appropriate use of Glaukos products, including compliant responses to unsolicited off‑label questions.

• Gather and communicate actionable clinical insights that inform strategy and enhance patient outcomes.

• Create strong professional networks with high‑impact decision‑makers and thought leaders in eye care.

• Represent Medical Affairs at local, regional, and national conferences—participating in scientific sessions and engaging HCPs at medical booths.

• Support clinical evidence generation through collaboration on investigator‑initiated research proposals.

• Maintain deep expertise in relevant disease states, emerging therapeutic options, and the evolving competitive landscape.

• Deliver scientific and practice education to eye‑care centers while collaborating cross‑functionally with clinical operations, market access, sales, and marketing.

• Work closely with optometric and ophthalmic medical societies across the region.

• Optimize field medical processes, insight gathering, and training initiatives.

• Manage territory planning, budgets, KOL mapping, and CRM documentation with accuracy and timeliness.

• Travel up to 70% (field visits, conferences, and headquarters meetings).

What You’ll Bring

• Doctorate degree (OD, Pharm

D, PhD, MD, DO).

• 5+ years of relevant industry experience.

• 1–1.5+ years of prior MSL experience in eye care.

• Exceptional emotional intelligence, communication, and presentation skills.

• Strong scientific acumen paired with the ability to translate complex data into clear, meaningful insights.

• High level of organization and proactive planning in a fast‑moving environment.

• Ability to operate with professionalism and compliance even in evolving or less‑defined processes.

• Strong collaboration, influence, and independent decision‑making abilities.

• Analytical, adaptable, and comfortable navigating changing priorities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.

• Residency within commuting distance to a major airport in the Southeast region.
