Technology Consulting – Supply Chain – Manufacturing Tech – Manufacturing Execution Systems – MES – Manager – Multiple Positions (1667298), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Miami, FL.
The role involves advising on the evaluation, design, customization and optimization of digital and cloud‑based solutions. You will work through agreed‑upon phases of project governance, requirement definition, vendor selection, risk analysis, customization/configuration, testing, training and rollout of a client’s software implementation project lifecycle, across a range of manufacturing execution systems.

• Advise on the evaluation, design, customization and optimization of Digital and Cloud based solutions.

• Lead team members in developing applicable methodologies, tools, approaches, points of view and accelerators to differentiate EY in the digital manufacturing consulting market.

• Provide broad technical and functional knowledge of various key technology and business platforms, collaborating with client technology professionals and third‑party strategic alliances.

• Develop long‑term relationships and networks both internally and externally.

• Interact and communicate effectively with teammates, clients, stakeholders and executives.

• Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds, ensuring consistent quality client services by monitoring progress.

• Demonstrate in‑depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge, maintain long‑term client relationships and networks, and cultivate business development opportunities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Management Information Systems (MIS), Mathematics or a related field and 5 years of advisory and/or consulting work experience; or a Master’s degree and 4 years of advisory and/or consulting work experience.
• 4 years of experience in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and/or manufacturing industry with at least one of the following:
  • Performing MES business requirements analysis and specifications, system design, application software configuration, development, testing, installation, integration, start‑up, or maintenance.
  • Architecture development and support for complex MES platforms such as GE Digital, Rockwell, Wonderware, Critical Manufacturing or Siemens.
• 4 years of experience providing design and configuration of computer system solutions in SCADA, MES, and integration to ERP and Quality Systems.
• 2 years of experience within software/systems technology and direct solution development capabilities with an MES platform, database design and MS SQL.
• 4 years of experience developing, implementing and conducting user and administration training as part of the installation process.
• 2 years of experience providing detailed and complex root‑cause analysis support and maintenance to systems hardware and software.
• 4 years of experience preparing written reports and technical evaluations such as functional specifications, technical documents and proposals.
• 4 years of experience demonstrating, communicating, and understanding manufacturing business process execution and computer systems architecture.
• 2 years of experience managing teams of advisory and/or consulting employees.
• Requires travel up to 80%, of which 20% may be international, to serve client needs.
