Associate, Operational Continuity & Compliance
KPMG US is seeking an Associate, Operational Continuity & Compliance to join our Digital Nexus Technology team.
As an Associate you’ll support compliance initiatives, manage user access, conduct risk assessments, and maintain documentation to ensure regulatory readiness.
Responsibilities- Lead and support compliance initiatives, including audit and monitoring activities, corrective action plan management, and advanced data analytics.
- Oversee and continuously improve user access management processes, ensuring alignment with internal policies and industry best practices for access provisioning, periodic access reviews, and privileged account management.
- Conduct risk assessments and root‑cause analyses to identify potential compliance gaps, escalating issues as appropriate, and drive effective remediation.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation for all compliance matters, including corrective action plans, issue summaries, and executive reports.
- Leverage advanced analytical and research skills to proactively identify emerging risks and recommend enhancements to compliance and access management frameworks.
- Coordinate and support internal and external audit activities, serving as a subject matter expert on compliance and user access controls.
- Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, promoting a culture of integrity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG’s respectful and courteous work environment.
- Minimum one year of recent experience in data analysis, compliance, and user access management, preferably within regulated environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, cybersecurity, business administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Proficiency with SQL, Databricks (Azure Platform), Alteryx, Power BI, and experience with SharePoint and Power Apps for automating compliance operations.
- Strong project management and time‑management skills, including the ability to create and maintain project timelines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.

- Knowledge of compliance requirements and digital workspace optimization to support compliance and access management operations.
