Greenberg Traurig (GT) is a global law firm seeking an Automation Engineer to join our Innovation Team in a U.S. office on a hybrid basis. This role reports to the Director of Innovation and Client Value and is focused on designing, developing, and maintaining intelligent automation solutions to streamline operations and enhance client service delivery.
Position SummaryAs an Automation Engineer, you will lead the design, development, and maintenance of automation workflows using Microsoft Azure services (Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus, Data Factory) and the Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse). You will also integrate third‑party RPA/automation platforms and orchestrate systems via APIs, scripting, and orchestration tools.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop automation workflows in Azure services and Power Platform.
- Integrate and orchestrate across diverse systems using APIs, Power Shell, Python, and other scripting languages.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, legal teams, and IT to translate business needs into technical specifications and scalable automation designs.
- Ensure solutions comply with firm‑wide security, compliance, and governance standards and monitor performance to identify improvement opportunities.
- Maintain documentation and contribute to a knowledge‑sharing culture.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in automation engineering or a related discipline.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Azure (Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus, Data Factory), Power Platform, and RPA tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism.
- Experience scripting in Power Shell, Python, or JavaScript and familiarity with RESTful APIs.
- Strong problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities, work under pressure, and meet strict deadlines in a fast‑paced law firm environment.
$78,000 – $86,000 per year (actual pay adjusted by experience, location, and job‑related factors).
